WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A DUCK

As a member of the Oregon Track & Field team, the O represents a legacy that I strive to honor and uphold. It is a privilege that I must earn every day.
I place my team above myself. I treat my teammates with respect, honesty, and integrity. My words and actions strengthen those around me. I do not win Championships alone.
We strive toward excellence in everything we do. We show what it means to work hard on and off the track. We are the first to arrive, the last to leave. To be #1, we must train like we’re #2. Attention to detail is the foundation of our success.
This is what it means to be a Duck.
